For many riders, an e-bike is more than just a way to get from A to B. It’s a daily essential, a reliable companion for commuting, errands, and everyday life.
For Felix, his Cube e-bike is exactly that. When he recently got in touch to share his experience, he told us how the LITELOK X1 stood between his bike and an attempted theft in Duisburg, Germany.
The attack happened overnight, between 17th and 18th June. Felix’s bike was secured to a steel hoop barrier, with the LITELOK X1 as the only security device protecting it.
Despite the thief’s attempt to cut through the lock using an angle grinder, the X1 held strong, protecting Felix’s bike and saving him from the cost and disruption of replacing his daily ride.
Felix shared his experience with us:
“It took place in the night 17th to 18th June in Duisburg, Germany. The bike was locked to a steel hoop barrier. The Litelok X1 survived the midnight angle grinder attack and saved my daily commuting „SUV“ from being stolen. There was no other security device than the X1! It saved me from spending approximately 4000€ for a new bike! Great Job! Thanks!”
