LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself. It offers at least 5 times more resistance than the best-selling D-locks without adding any extra weight. It is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.
It is the only full-sized armoured D-lock on the market and contains a host of clever design features that make it easy to use and carry so you can keep your bike secure against the most determined bike thieves.

Lock Cylinder
X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I feel a lot better about leaving my bikes outside with these beasts securing them. (I got the bundle of 2 Litelok X1s) I haven't tried hitting them with my angle grinder so my 5 stars is just for daily use impressions.
I attached the mount/bracket with 2 screws to my water bottle mounts on a Bullitt cargo bike. It seems like the mount is primarily intended to use with the wrap-around clamps (which i’m not crazy about the look of), and putting it on with just two screws is a bit weird. You need to find 2 screws with heads just the right size: too small and the heads follow the screw right down the holes. If the screw heads are too big they wont fit into their little seats. Otherwise, this bracket is the best D lock bracket i've ever used. There's no rattling. It takes 2 hands to twist that lock out of there. I was skeptical the plastic bracket would break or be too stiff in cold weather. We haven't had real cold yet, but so far it works fine down to -20.
Having the locks wrapped in thick rubber is a real skin-saver in winter because I usually drop my mitts to lock and unlock.
Photo 1 is $600 worth of locks on a $90 bike. Might seem like overkill, but in downtown Saskatoon, it’s about right. These locks inspire peace of mind.
In photo 2, a $200 studded tyre needs more than a cable if it’ll be out of sight for long. I’m definitely glad i went for the bundle of 2 locks. The litelok wont reach around the tyre and the down tube with this front suspension bike, but i suppose most…

1. Befestigung des X1 am Sitzrohr möglichst weit oben mit dem mitgelieferten Halter. Dadurch entsteht zwischen montiertem Schloß und Oberrohr nur ein Abstand von 3-4 cm.
2. Den U-Bügel mit einem ca. 3 cm breiten Klettband möglichst weit vorne mit Spannung am Oberrohr fixieren, dann klappert nichts mehr.

Feels solid, higher priced but compared to losing your expensive bike it's worth it. I use 2 locks, one of which is a litelok.
Only downside you just get 2 keys. Most other locks you get 3 or more.
