Had my old bicycle stolen with a U-lock from a popular company within seconds. After doing some research I ended up purchasing the X3 for my new ebike. Love this thing. Heavy duty and gives me piece of mind when locking it up outside. It also comes with a pouch I use before storing it in my pannier bag. Highly recommend and worth the investment in my opinion.

Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

The lock is well made and the protected rubber coating prevents my wheels from being scratched.
I use the lock through the front wheel and disk, this prevents the disc being cut. The key mechanism is great in that it keeps water out.

Bought to secure my motorbikes when out and about. It’s a high quality item, very well built. Check the sizes it only just goes around my front tire of my ninja 500 and my tracer 7, and you have to squeeze it on. It’s also quite difficult to get the bar off the tolerances are so tight, but I guess this is a good thing! Happy with my purchase and feel like it will do its job of putting people off stealing my bike!!

Ordered this lock after seeing it on YouTube being advertised by That Biker Simon and also watching it being tested to destruction by Bennett’s bike social, where it out performed all its rivals. Very pleased with the quality and the packaging, its own little carry pouch and the rubberised protective covering. I’ve been using the Litelok and honestly it’s lighter than carrying a chain, which is a big plus. Feels really solid and gives me peace of mind.
Only thing is I do wish they made it a bit longer for motorbikes, sometimes it’s a bit limiting depending on where you’re locking up.
Overall though, I’d still take this over a heavy chain any day

I can’t explain how much more of a peace of mind this litelok X 3 gives me. I know that I can leave my bike in the heart of Liverpool and it will still be there when I get back. Am now considering getting another one for the front wheel also. I think real bike thieves know the quality of the litelok and know it’s would take about 8 grinder discs and more than one battery and use to much time just on one lock. It’s been the best investment by far. And has made a huge difference with my bike insurance. 5* All day long

I bought the X3 for my new Yamaha Tracer 9GT, I worked hard to afford this bike and i don't want any scrote to obtain it for nothing, and I reckon the X3 Moto should help to stop anyone taking my hard earned bike. In the garage I use it in conjunction with a heavy duty chain and ground anchor ,and on the road its used with the chain to give optimum security, hopefully in the near future I'll buy another one , as part of a layered system
