Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I have been a motor cyclists for almost 55 years and a cyclists for even longer. I have owned many motorcycles over the years and many bikes. Although I have never had a bicycle stolen (probably because I have never had one worth stealing🤣), I have had a motorcycle stolen which was never recovered. I recently bought a new motorcycle and two new ebikes and was looking for a strong lock which I could use for my motorcycle and the ebikes when needed. We holiday a lot in our motor home and take the ebikes with us so I wanted a D lock that would supplement the security we already had to secure to the RV when not in use, and to use when we were out and about to secure if we went walkabout. Having researched what was available, and particularly after watching videos of various locks being tested, the LITELOK X3 stood out head and shoulders above the rest and was clearly the strongest lock on the market so I decided to order one. These are expensive, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I could have bought a D lock from a supermarket for £5 and if your bike cost £30 that might do but not when your bike costs 100 times more than that, and you have bought 2! We needed the best available. I am delighted with my purchase; a quality piece of kit which is apparent as soon as you take it out of the box. Someone had actually had a go at stealing my Peugeot tweet as there was damage to the abloy lock casing and deep groves to the rubber casing which I have covered with some duct tape, bit upset my lock has been damaged when only 2 weeks old but most importantly my scooter didn’t go missing and the lock still works fine.

Excellent security for bikes, my husband has a “stable” of bikes he enjoys cleaning and looking at, all but the newest secured by Litelok x3 the fourth will be on order in a few days. Garage has cctv, alarms and more but litelok provides the additional security needed.

My bike is worth more than my car. We are traditionally off-road riders and when I was invited on a special city adventure, I almost passed due to not wanting to leave my bike unattended. I did some research found Litelok reviews by third party testers and thought this is my only option. When the lock arrived I was impressed with the strength, design & functionality. It is not light, this is a given but there really isn't an option. Still working on how to attach it someplace on the Specialized Turbo Levo, had to ride with it in a pack. However, the lock is everything I expected and I am happy to have it.
