Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I did a check on the grinder resistance on YT. They all seemed very good. In combination with the GPS tracker on my bike I'm a lot more confident that thieves will have a tough 'battle' with this Lock.
No Lock is full proof resistant for grinders but this lock for sure makes it a lot more difficult I excpect.
Time will tell.......
Pricing is acceptable. Size of the clamp is a bit short, but there's a X1-Moto lock available with a bigger clamp but this is far more expensive.

After my Abus granit got ground I then upgraded to the Litelock for my e-bike (radwagon). It too was then attacked but they didn't get further than the rubber sheath. I've now bought another one for my other bike and would gladly recommend.

I got this lock set for my Velotric Fold 1 Plus. This is my first e-bike, and, given I am using it as a main mode of transportation in an urban environment, I really wanted to make sure to protect my investment. After doing a lot of research, I was torn between the X1 and the X3. I chose to go with the X1, as it seemed to me to be the best compromise of price, weight, and peace of mind.
I’m very happy with the decision I made! It’s hefty, but not overtly so. It’s quite easy to carry around, and the locking mechanism is satisfying, not finicky whatsoever.
One minor problem that I did have with my e-bike is that, since the chassis and wheels of my bike are quite thick, it’s unfortunately not possible to lock the wheel AND the bike AND the chassis on the same lock. For that purpose, I think an X1 plus would have been better. However, I can still lock them all with 2 separate locks, just takes a bit of time.
Overall, a worthy purchase. I hope the strength of this lock is never tested, but if it is, I think it will do a darn good job of it!

The lock came in a very nice package, including a pouch. It seems to be of very good quality, with rubberized coating. My only issue is that it is on the smaller side, so I'll have to return and purchase the X1 Plus size.

I bought my first 2 X1 locks from litelok 2 and a half years ago, they have and still serve me very well, now I have upgraded my ebike, I have bought another 2 for travelling this time with the amazing keyed alike so I only need carry the one key, trust me these locks are beautiful crafted and other than a bit of dirt the old set look as good as the new try for yourself you won't regret it
