Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

This lock gives me great peace of mind when parking my bike outside. It is heavy and large but nothing beats it for the peace of mind and security.
I had an issue where the lock rubber seal was torn and I reached out to customer service. They promptly responded and informed me that it was a user serviceable part. They then sent me replacement seals free of charge (as well as some extras). Nothing beats this level of customer service.

It has a weighted, secure feel to it and a nice semi-soft exterior that feels like it is less likely to scratch your bike. I am much more confident with my bike using this lock.

These locks are fantastic. You can tell how good the quality is and it fits perfectly on the front wheel of my Vespa through the suspension etc whilst in the locked position. Quick and easy to use. It also is small and I leave it in my seat when riding. Hopefully this will keep thieves away. Great product, would highly recommend.

I was looking for added bike security for our road trips, and bought this lock because of the on-line reviews, and I'm very happy with it. It just feels right.
It fits perfectly through the both brake disks on the front wheel of my 1050 Tiger, almost made to measure.
Doesn't fit quite so well with the single disk and wheel spoke design on the 2025 Speed Twin 900. The spokes and disc only line up in a couple of ways. However, the Litelok can be fitted snuggly on the rear wheel, where it's more difficult to attack.

I've had the lock over a month now and am very happy with my purchase.
I've had gold rated d-locks in the past, but this is in another league when you watch videos of it being attacked with an angle grinder.
Because of that I am more than happy to ride into town, park up and know that it'll be there when I return. I do pair it with a cable lock and an alarm lock to add to the layers of security.
The space in the lock is great, giving plenty of room to secure the bike while the coating avoids damaging the paint work. I also like the neoprene bag for it, keeping stuff in my panniers clean if it is wet or dirty after locking up.
All in all a great lock, and one I've recommended to all my friends.
