LITELOK X Tested in Cardiff Bay | Ride Like A Girl Event

Another fantastic event hosted by Ride Like A Girl! We were delighted to be invited back to their bike meet at Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff Bay on 11th September.

It was great to meet even more bikers and connect with the local riding community, especially with the event being just a short drive from our HQ in Swansea.

To make the day even more memorable, the sun decided to make an appearance in Cardiff, on the one day of the week when it didn’t rain!

We also put on another angle grinder demonstration, comparing unarmoured D-Locks with our LITEOK X3 to show motorcyclists the difference in strength and security.

What makes the LITELOK X3 different?

Well, it’s all down to what’s inside. The X3 is armoured with our patented composite material, Barronium®, which is designed to fight back against angle grinder attacks by turning the grinder’s own energy and force against itself. In fact, it offers at least 20 times more resistance than the best-selling D-locks, without adding any extra weight.

But it’s not just designed to tackle angle grinders. Barronium® is permanently fused to a hardened, fine-grain, high-tensile steel core, giving the X3 protection against many of the other tools thieves commonly use, including bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels, as well as -40°C freeze spray.

The Event

Ride Like A Girl have been supporting the Teddy Tour through ride-outs and charity raffles, helping to raise funds for Teddy, who is battling a rare form of neuroblastoma and whose treatment is no longer funded by the NHS.

We were really pleased to be able to play a small part in supporting the cause by donating a LITELOK X1 to the raffle. We’re happy to say that Rob was the lucky winner!

We love travelling to different countries and meeting riders from all over the world, but there’s something especially rewarding about exhibiting at events right here at home in Wales.
