Every.Day.Ride with Pfeiffer Georgi

The first in our EDR (Every.Day.Ride) series. A snapshot of a riders daily life, by delving into their everyday carry...

The first segment being with current British Women's Champion, Pfeiffer Georgi.

We recently caught up with her whilst visiting our sponsored professional team; Team DSM in their training facility in The Netherlands.

It is fair to say that cycling is in Georgi's DNA... she was born in Hern Hill, London (home to the famous Herne Hill Velodrome), before her family moved to the West Country, where she raced on the Castle Combe race circuit, making her debut there at the age of six. Her brother Etienne cycled for Team Wiggins Le Col in 2017-2018. Her father Peter races at Masters level and her mother Louise is an amateur cyclist. In 2020 she broke two vertebrae in a crash in Belgium and things were looking dark for Pfeiffer but she bounced back to an unbelievable form, to win the Women's British title in 2021.

2022 has also started off well for Pfeiffer and the Team DSM women's program, and we were lucky enough to grab some of their time at the training facility before the classics season got in to full swing.

We spoke to Pfeiffer about trainings rides and her EDR items. Of course it wouldn't be complete without her rain jersey in British Champ colours, an item of true pride. Watch her interview below to learn more about the items she'd take on a typical training ride...

Thanks Pfeiffer and huge success for the rest of the 2022 season!
