How do I secure my motorcycle with LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 can be used to secure the front or rear wheel of your motorcycle. Depending on the style of your wheel, the lock can be fitted through your spokes, through your spokes and disc, or even through the disc and hub itself. It can also be used around the wheel and tire itself on the front wheel of your motorbike.
X1’s can also be daisy chained together from a solid object or to another bike.

What is LITELOK X1 made of?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium™, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium™ layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I do not dispute the technology that makes these locks great for anti angle grinding theft , but to say these are dedicated motorbike locks i think is a stretch , as the shackle is simply not large enough to fit around most big cc bikes wheels. I have a naked triumph and it will not fit round the front tyre so the only option is to loosely hang it from the single hub spoke. I wouldnt mind this but the photos on the site suggest it will fit round the wheel and therefore be more secure. You can even see one of the photos on the site has been badly photoshopped to make it look like it fits ( in my view). The only other way to have it securely fitting is through the brake callipers and to make that fit, it scrapes and damages the superficial plastic covering, and is not quick to do.
Writing this to let bike owners know. Delivery was also delayed quite a bit due to production issues, although this was communicated.

Thanks for the review. As you have stated, there are some motorcycles where the X1 does not fit over the tyre and in these cases you would need to try fitting through the brake discs and/or spokes. I can assure you that none of the images on our website have been photoshopped in order to give a false impression that it does fit any motorcycle. We always try to be honest and up front about this. Apologies for the delay in receiving your lock. Again, we do try to be transparent and give an estimate in when we will be able to fulfil each order and if there are any further delays we will communicate this our customers. The lock seems very good at the moment, the only minor issue being the device to store the lock on the bike which is not entirely stable and taking the lock in and out of it wears down the plastic cover of the lock itself.

What a chance, 3 guys attempted stealing my mt09 at the mall in Montreal and were not able to pass through the x1!! They had a window of about 30 minutes and were unsuccessful. Finally they decided to lift the bike but were disturbed, had to run away , leaving the bike on its side , with material thay was allegedly usef to pick the x1 lock

Using it as part of my overall counter theft measures on my motorcycle and am very impressed with the product. Well made and with the added piece of mind that once you have registered your keys, you will always be able to order replacements.
Hopefully I will never need to prove its deterrent worth but reassuring nonetheless and the insurer likes it too.The fact that it’s developed and made in the UK is another plus point.
If I have a minor criticism, it was the length of time it took to deliver but this is a real minor criticism and I am more than happy to recommend it.
