Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

So after my GSA was stolen from my garage at the beginning of this year, I have spent much time researching and analysing every type of motorcycle security device out there in all forms. To hopefully save myself the trauma and misery of losing another buddy (because that’s what your bike ultimately becomes as you go places and accumulate experiences on it.)
So anyway, after purchasing various 19 and 22 mm chains ground anchors, alarms and trackers to fit to my new bike I can honestly say that liteloks’ X3 is the sole device that helps me sleep better at night, and also when out and about for that matter, it always goes with me and fits through the rear wheel disc and spokes simultaneously. If you’re lucky enough to purchase one you’ll feel how substantial it really is and you’ll instantly know what I’m talking about. Also if you combine it with a likelok core moto through the front wheel and anchor it to some street furniture or a strong anchor point, then there is a very high percentage thief’s won’t even bother. I saw lots of reviews about this fantastic lock and I have seen many comments saying the X3 Moto wouldn’t fit a BMW GS1200/1250 Adventure. So I thought I would do my review and video to show that it fits perfectly on the big GS.
I can’t see how anyone is going to get this off without a lot of destruction!! I purchased a hi viz coiled up disc lock reminder cable as the X3 is tucked out of sight on the rear wheel. It would be nice if LITELOK supplied one of these with the lock at this price point.
Overall I am very pleased with my LITELOK X3 Moto and highly recommend it. Just don’t expect it to actually be light! It is light for what it is but it’s still 2.5kg.

This lock is a beast. It makes me feel secure when I leave my bike outside. I generally don’t leave it outside, but I want to be able to so I decided to invest in a high end bike lock, and this one’s the best one out there. It’s also not as heavy as I thought it would be. The key also works really well. In the past I’ve had so many issues with the key for my kryptonite and the key on this one works a lot easier. I wish it was just a little bit wider. I don’t have the skinniest bike frame, but I also definitely don’t have the biggest and it’s can be a little difficult to put the wheel and the frame along a standard bike rack while also getting a cable around the other tire, but that’s every lock I’ve had so it seems to just be industry standard. I would definitely recommend purchasing the X3.

The lock just fits most bicycle racks with how I lock my bike with both the front wheel (motorised and so the more expensive one) and the frame locked to the rack. (I was doing it with one hand in this video as my other hand was filming, and it's usually much easier with two hands.)
The only problem I have is that I now struggle to find space to mount a second Litelok onto my frame since I want to get another one for the rear wheel.

The lock is solid. It is a bit heavier than i had thought it would be but for the security it gives is great. Not as big as i thought it would be for my scrambler lock locations are tight but still workable. I also use it on my gravel bike with the carrier it came with and that is great. I feel very safe walking away from my bikes.
