Tested against the most d-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Barronium® is a fused composite armour that offers unparalleled angle grinder resistance without adding extra weight. It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
What’s the difference between Keyed Alike and Keyed Differently?
Keyed Alike means both locks use the same key.
- You only need to carry one key for both locks.
Keyed Differently means each lock has its own unique key.
- You’ll have separate keys for each lock.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.

Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Recently I had the opportunity to book a couple of nights away at a hotel in Lampeter as a base for a spot of motorcycling in mid Wales. At 00:30 on the second morning I heard and caught sight of two hooded low life emerging from the rear of the hotel. My room was directly over the archway that gives access to the car park at the rear and I clearly heard them discussing what could only have been the potential theft of my bike, which was parked at the rear. So I set up a vigil, in a public room in the hotel overlooking the car park, with lights on and the windows wide open, making myself clearly visible in the hope it would deter any attempt at theft. I couldn't sleep anymore anyway. Had they made an attempt I planned to set off the fire alarm, sod the rest of the guests. I had a Litelok X1 attached to the front wheel of my bike, bought only very recently, and I thought it highly unlikely they could make off with the bike as the lock was fitted such that two cuts would be needed. The bike itself was parked with the front wheel tight against a wall. But the potential damage they may have caused, either in trying to, or maliciously if they failed, could be very costly. I finally went back to bed when it got light, at about 04:45. Later, at breakfast, four men at a nearby table were discussing how one had been up at 03:00 because a skanky old high top Transit was parked in the road at the front, under his window with the engine running. He was worried they were going to break…

Been looking at these for a while and finally ordered one. The psychological effect of knowing your bike is secure is worth the cost. I was forever checking my bike was still there when parked at work as I do shift work and 5 o`clock in the morning in a quiet industrial estate out of view I was very nervous.
Now i take a casual check on my lunch break and really don`t think about it .
The bonus is it`s not heavy and easily manageable in my tail pack.

The Supreme Urban Bundle - X1 and X1 - Keyed Alike bought for security peace of mind for my Motorcycle and eBike. I chose the same keys option to keep things simple I think it is a great option to have. The accompanying video shows how easy the X1 fits through the front disc on my BMW R1250GS.
