LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself.
Barronium® is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides Motorcycle Diamond levels of protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.
LITELOK X1 offers at least double the performance of the most heavy-duty chains yet weighs only 1.7kg and is easily carried in a rucksack, stored in your panniers or strapped to your rack. It also offers at least 5 times more angle grinder resistance than the best-selling, best-performing D-locks.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Upgraded my bike security from a disc lock to the LiteLok X1 Moto and it really is a great item. Easy to deploy - it fits perfectly through the wheel hub on my GS, and just gives me peace of mind - knowing that it will take something seriously heavy duty to get past the lock, and in most cases will send the would-be thief on to another target. I also like the fact that it can be combined with a chain to add further layers.
Really like the storage pouch supplied too - only thing missing Litelok guys is a reminder cord on the Moto version to complete the package :-)

Great lock, apart from a mishap on my part forgetting it was on bike and snapping a wire spoke which lodged itself in coating of lock. Once removed, apart from a nick and a couple of scuffs on coating she good.
Well made and very durable, excellent size and easy to lock and unlock.
Just remember to fit that reminder chord!

I brought the lock after looking at several reviews and youtube video's about how long it may take an angle grinder to cut through the d-lock. It's very well made and not too heavy, meaning I can take the lock anywhere, unlike heavy duty chains.
Rookie mistake, I didn't check the width of my motorcycle tyre's, and it didn't fit at first, but I did find a way of using it on my bike. This is my mistake as the internal dimensions are on the website. For reference the first bike is a Kawasaki Vulcan S (Cruiser).

Well made and ticks all the boxes, the rubber finish doesn’t mark the wheels and the lock is smooth. Light enough to carry will definitely be used when traveling. Someone has already had a go at it but looks like they gave up very quickly!

After buying the X3 and Core Moto I thought I would treat myself to the X1. It's a little smaller and more portable than the X3 but what suprised me was the weight, definitely more portable than the X3, very light and very good quality. On my way home from work I found that someone had clearly tried to steal my bicycle, cutting into my Litelok X1 from different angles and entry points, but had given up.
I now own several Liteloks for all my family's two wheeled vehicles. The outer coating avoids damaging things and protects them from the elements, the key always turns smoothly, and, as shown above, they work! Highly recommended.

As my Bantam has no ignition key I was looking for an alternative to a padlock and chain to secure it when I was out and about.

Very impressed when it turned up, feels robust and well made, easy to fit and not overly heavy, easier to carry than a lock and chain too!
