Lock Cylinder

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Having seen countless videos and reading reviews of the Litelok, I thought it was time to upgrade my bike security. Too many bike thieves use cordless grinders as thier weapon of choice. Although my present locks and chains are insurance approved, they probably won't last very long against a grinder. So using the Litelok with my other stuff should give me a fighting chance against the thieves. I managed to fit the lock through both front discs with no problems at all, and no damage to my paintwork.

Had lock approx couple of weeks now build quality looks very good fits nicely, coating on lock is rubber type feel so shouldn't scratch paint on wheels etc like others sometime do. Carry bag is also a nice touch keeps everything nice and clean for carrying. Hopefully it never gets tested but confident it will be up to the challenge.

Took up the X1 Moto as a second device. Been using the ONE Moto for some time now. No complaints with that, I like using it and another LITELOK a no brainer really. The X1 Moto looks and feels purposeful. Easy to use but I have struggled with positioning the lock on the bike, trying to find a position that makes the lock awkward to attack. The thickness of the shackle limits options on this bike it seems. However having a LITELOK option on both wheels adds layers. Now I have to find a better way to carry one or both on the bike.

Excellent product, feels great quality & easily fits through the centre hub of my front wheel. Not big enough to fit around my rear wheel but can fit it through the spokes via the top section of the drive shaft. Well worth the money paid!

I now own a different bike which I intend to keep

To try and protect my Triumph trophy 1215 se, i bought two good quality chains from a well known brand, as well as a disc lock and good protective cover, i was appalled with the ease the low life scum cropped off the chains, i got the bike back thanks to a tracker that was installed, once i got her back the first thing i done was to purchase a litelock, wish i had done it sooner, to be honest the price put me off, however after the horrible experience of having your pride and joy stolen and with so much ease it would have been a small price to pay, since i bought my litelock i can sleep at night knowing there bolt crops won't cut it, even now i am considering buying a second one for that added piece of mind, i would seriously advise anyone looking for a bike lock to invest in a litelock, it is money well spent and will save you some real heartache, they may not be cheap but you get what you pay for, for the price of my two chains and disc lock i could have bought a litelock, they say hindsight is a wonderful thing, take my advice, do it right first time and invest in a litelock.

The litelok x1 certainly gives me confidence that my bike will not go missing. It's light and small so not a bother to carry around. It's simplicity is fantastic and it fits through the wheel and tyre on my adv 350 perfectly. It's so good I've ordered another one with the same keys. Delivery was a little longer because of this but 2 locks with the same key is great

Pricey as hell but It works and its hefty as hell , nicely finished astheticly .
Well packed ,and like the little bag but if im going to be picky it losses a star. For the price id expect more postive feeling conections.
The locking end of D lock feels great in one orentation but wiggles and lifts ever so slightly in the other, it lock and is locked but sparks that did i leave the stove on ? Niggle in your head.
Ability to re order and register the keys is great and apriciate the silicone barrel cover but again , lacks finess of a postive CLUNK of the key being in just kind of wobbles until it engages exagerated with chunky cloves on.
My two cents ...Sort out the niggles maybe have the option to order or select for a larger glove freindly keys
