Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I bought the X3 to secure my dirt bike inside my van and also to deter any opportunity theft when left unattended outside at off-road events. With there being no other form of security on these type of bikes I wanted the ultimate, the X3!

Fantastic lock, the pouch is also a great idea to slip it into for commutes, I’ve had motorcycles stolen in the past despite having locks and chains on that were too easily cut through, so this product really has given me a peace of mind that is invaluable.

It looks solid and very hard to break. The rubberised outer layer is particularly useful considering that I put the lock in the front wheel of my GSA. Insurance company hasn’t really considered too much the lock for covering purposes. It is heavy to carry and I have to store it in the back top case. When I ordered the lock I had a discrepancy for the address and Ben has assisted me all the way through. I believe this is a typical example on how to go for the extra mile. Well done! I am definitively happy with the purchase.

I’ve been using the Litelok X3 for a while now, and it’s easily one of the best bike locks I’ve ever owned. The build quality feels incredibly solid and while bulky, its not as bulky as I thought it would be. What I really appreciate is the peace of mind it gives me. Its resistance to angle grinders makes it even more appealing to me.
The cost is definitely an investment, but absolutely worth it if you want the best protection for your bike.

After extensive reviews online and watching multiple videos on angle grinders cutting through locks in seconds and how quickly a lock can be defeated, I was on a quest to find the best lock, period. My daughter is attending college in California on a campus that sees thefts of scooters, bikes and skateboards every single day.
