Lock Cylinder
X1 PLUS features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Tested against the best-selling D-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 PLUS is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 PLUS requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Barronium® is a fused composite armour that offers unparalleled angle grinder resistance without adding extra weight. It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 PLUS be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 PLUS is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 PLUS weigh?
LITELOK X1 PLUS weighs approximately 1.99kg (4.39lb).
What's the difference between X1 PLUS Bike and X1 PLUS Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 PLUS can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 PLUS and X3?
LITELOK X1 PLUS and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1 PLUS. X1 PLUS has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1 PLUS?
LITELOK X1 PLUS has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 255mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other d-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 PLUS to my bike?
LITELOK X1 PLUS is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical Mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 PLUS is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
The X1 Tactical Mount is sold separately.
Please note: The X1 PLUS used with an X1 tactical Mount will only be suitable for large frames.
Has LITELOK X1 PLUS been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X1 PLUS made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A rubber outer layer that is soft to touch so it won't damage your frame.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 PLUS is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Nice new electric bikes for the first time - loadsa money - so we wanted a secure lock. Read all the reviews, watched all the horror videos, then settled on a Litelok X1 Plus. Arrived quickly and works really well - but there was another consideration we hadn't really thought about which may be useful for others.
The frames on electric bikes are much chunkier, so two ordinary D locks will lock each bike but are too short to lock them together, frame to frame. A Litelok X1 Plus with its extra length can do this - which now means we don't have to carry the extra weight of two locks around, the X1 Plus does the job of two..
So unless thieves just happen to turn up with a van and then manage to lift two heavy electric bikes flopping around all over the place joined securely by the Litelok X1 Plus, we think we are more than secure!

Excellent lock. I originally bought the mini version for locking the bike when I’m out in for the low weight but the smaller size can make it difficult, which the Plus version solves for maximum flexibility. I also used the key match option so I always have the right key

Needed a more secure lock for European tours. Bought the Litelok X1 and it secured the front wheel of the wife BMW F900XR to the rear wheel of my Honda CB1000gt perfectly. A little fiddly as only just long enough, but sleep a lot better now.

Recently purchased and well impressed with quality. Gives a feeling of confidence in not having another bike stolen. So far i always lock my bike to a fixed structure with the.litelock and the use other not quite as good locks to keep the wheels intact. Its hard to comment on a lock that hasnt been attacked as to how effective it is. HOWEVER, that applies to all security. With litelok the reputation speaks for itself and i feel totally confident in locking my bike up with one, to th poi t where i have cancelled my insurance, such is the faith i have in this product

I'm so impressed with the Litelock X1 plus, the quality is absolutely brilliant. I've still yet got to find the perfect way to fit it to my bike, so I've threaded it round a few spokes and rear sprocket and there's loads more space to attach to my bike chain and ground anchor.
I'm that impressed, I'll be ordering a litelock mini to accompany this one!
