LITELOK X1 Moto - much better than a disc lock
Upgraded my bike security from a disc lock to the LITELOK X1 Moto and it really is a great item. Easy to deploy - it fits perfectly through the wheel hub on my GS, and just gives me peace of mind - knowing that it will take something seriously heavy duty to get past the lock, and in most cases will send the would-be thief on to another target. Really like the storage pouch supplied too.

Genuinely "Lite" Security!
After buying the X3 and Core Moto I thought I would treat myself to the X1. It's a little smaller and more portable than the X3 but what suprised me was the weight, definitely more portable than the X3, very light and very good quality. Tested against the most d-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I’ve been using this lock now for a few weeks and I have to say it’s superb. It’s very easy to use, easy to carry due to its compact size and very sturdy. I have been using it on my Honda Africa Twin and my Harley Street Glide. It’s a perfect size to go through both brake discs and wheel spokes and wide enough to go over the Harley alloy spoke, once fitted there is very little lateral movement making it more difficult for a thief to get at. I find it easier to fit than my traditional disc lock and easier to transport than my heavy chain and lock. It also comes with a handy storage wallet. All in all a superb diamond rated lock that’s easy on the pocket and made in Britain.

This lock fits perfectly through the disc brake of my Honda Rebel and it gives me peace of mind knowing that it will deter most thieves. I love the Arctic camo design and the storage pouch that comes with it. It's a bit heavy to carry in my backpack after a while but it's good quality.

Excellent quality, strong and reliable.
I have seen all the videos online and have bought the X1 moto, I sleep better at night knowing my motorbike is more safe and secure. The reflective sticker on the shackle has peeled off in the heat we have been having but that does not affect the strength of the lock. I will be purchasing another one very soon.
