How long can LITELOK X1 resist an angle grinder for?
The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock aswell as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What is LITELOK X1's locking circumference?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is sold with an innovative Twist & Go mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The universal quick-release Twist & Go mount fits any bike style and firmly holds X1 in place even on rough surfaces for rattle-free riding.
If you don’t want to use the Twist & Go mount, we have a lock holster solution. We’ve collaborated with Restrap, another great British brand, to create a Lock Holster, which is available as an optional extra for £14.99.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Motorcycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made of?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium™, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium™ layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

For motorbike security probably the best u-lock. There are two other harder-to-cut (and thicker) u-locks but the Inner dimensions of the litelok x1 allow me to put the lock around my tyre AND my wheel rim to encircle it. I then attach a cinch chain to the litelok x1 after looping the chain around an immovable object. Due to the internal dimensions of the other tougher locks, they would only encircle a couple of the cast wheel spokes. There is then the potential that if the thief cut the spokes he would entirely void the strength of the locks to take the bike! I know, that in my case, a thief could cut the 'not as tough chain' but he would still have the litelok x1 around the wheel to deal with. This works for me but your circumstances may differ!

I purchased the lock to protect my ebike which I take into the city. It is secure, high quality, and has done its job of deterrence so far. It is a good balance of size and it is lightweight for the level of security. My one complaint would be that the holder isn't fully secure while being held horizontally. It rotates as I ride over bumps which requires me to recenter the lock while riding, and this back and forth is chewing up the nubs on the lock which makes it looser.
