Will CORE Flex fit my waist?
CORE Flex will fit a waist size up to around 41 inches. Each lock is supplied with an elasticated wearable kit. You don’t need to close the lock around your waist, the wearable kit secures the lock while you wear it for comfort.
How secure is CORE Flex?
CORE Flex is independently tested by Sold Secure and has achieved the Gold rating. Sold Secure Gold is the insurance recommended performance level for most bikes above £1,500 and now most E-Bikes.
What's the difference between CORE Plus CORE Flex?
Both locks are very similar but there are some key differences between the two locks. CORE Plus is slightly more secure than CORE Flex. CORE Plus is also slightly heavier and less flexible than CORE Flex.
What is CORE Flex ideal for?
CORE FLEX is ideal for longer stops in higher risk areas and for commuters who need a high level of security. CORE Flex is also suitable for those who need more flexibility in where they lock their bikes, and also for those who are looking for a wearable lock.
Can I attach CORE Flex to my bike?
Yes, the CORE Flex is supplied with a set of wrap straps and frame mounts. These can be used to mount the lock to your frame or pannier rack etc. With so many frame variations please feel free to contact us for assistance on this.
What is CORE Flex made from?
CORE Flex is made of 3 layers of protection. A high tensile steel core, steel radial protection and then protected by a plant based biopolymer. The whole construction is then covered with the abrasion sleeve.
Can you coil CORE Flex?
Yes, you can! The Flex construction allows the lock to be coiled down and secured with the wrap straps.
How much does CORE Flex weigh?
CORE Flex weighs 1.7kg (3.7lbs) making it one of the lightest Sold Secure Gold locks available.
How do I lock my bike with a CORE Flex?
We’d always recommend locking your bike to something as well as having the lock through your frame and back wheel. With so many frame variations please feel free to contact us for assistance on this.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK CORE Plus is sold with a 1 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

All gold rated locks are heavy, so I was pleased to see that this lock was the lightest, but with reassuring toughness. The adapter for wearing the lock while cycling should be useful as finding a suitable place to clip the lock onto my e-bike has proved challenging! Would recommend.

Reassured by the security of their locks but not sure about it's use for touring. Because it is still rather heavy and not long enough.

I was really excited about this lock, but it's been quite difficult to use. It's hard to get the lock end through the spokes of my tire, and then challenging to squeeze the ends together to lock it--they have to be in the exact right angle. Because the cable circumference is so small, I end up bringing my other locks with me anyway in case this one won't fit around whatever I need to lock my bike to. I thought this lock would lighten my load and speed up the locking process but it's only added weight and time. I do feel it's more secure than my other locks, but it hasn't helped in the other ways I'd hoped.

Not had chance to use it out & about yet, but looks a well (uk) made lock, only gripe is with lack of instructions or video to show properly how to fit the straps to bike frame?? Still not sure i’ve worked it out…..!!

A necessary purchase, my bike insurance specified Sold Secure Gold Rated and this was the lightest and most portable lock available. I’ve now taken it out on 2 rides and worn it around my waist. Whilst it is heavy (1.7kg) it does sit well on the waist but it is quite a bit of extra weight to be riding with and is quite lumpy. It is stiff to manipulate but maybe that will ease with use. It certainly is a sturdy lock but it’s a shame it weighs so much.
